Syrian Ornaments is the reduced format production featuring Takht al-Nagham’s core musicians. The repertoire is instrumental and includes pieces from the Syrian music tradition as well as tradition-observing, newly composed pieces. The reduced format of Takht al-Nagham is a quintet ensemble that includes violin, oud, qanun, double bass and riq. |
